Selection Process
  • Stage-I : Computer Based Online Examination (CBE)
  • Stage-II : Physical Test (PFT), Assessment & Adaptability Test, DV & Initial Medicals
  • Stage-III : Final Document Verification and Pre-Enrolment Medicals at INS Chilka
  • Stage-IV : Original Document Verification / Authentication with Boards / Universities

Pay Scale Details
  • Yantrik : Basic pay Rs. 29200/- (Pay Level-5). In addition, Yantrik pay Rs. 6200/- plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty / place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
  • Navik (General Duty) : Basic pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulations.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch) : Basic Pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.
  • Hygienist-I : Basic Pay of Rs. 21700/- (Pay Level-3) plus Dearness Allowance and other allowances based on nature of duty/ place of posting as per the prevailing regulation.

Post Wise Qualification
  • Navik (General Duty) : 12th Class Passed with Physics & Maths.
  • Navik (Domestic Branch) : 10th Passed from any Recognized Board.
  • Yantrik (Mechanical) : Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Yantrik (Electrical) : Diploma in Electrical Engineering.
  • Yantrik (Electronics) : Diploma in Electronics/ Telecom Engineering.
  • Hygienist-I : 10th Class Passed OR ITI OR Equivalent.
